The Artists’ Community Administrator Residency is designed to provide creative time and space for practicing artists of all disciplines who are also staff members of an artists’ community. The dates are September 30 – October 14, 2018.

The residency is open to staff who have been employed for at least one year by an organization that is a member of the Alliance of Artists Communities in good standing (this includes Emerging Program members). Ideal outcome is to support artists from a range of disciplines, backgrounds, ages and positions. The application is open to employees in any department (administration, fundraising, maintenance, marketing, programming, studio, etc.) and who are practicing artists of all disciplines (literary arts, media arts, music, performing arts, visual arts, etc.).

The residency is limited to ten people and applicants must commit to attending for the full two weeks. We will provide housing, meals, studio/equipment usage, and staff resources. Selected participants are asked to provide their own transportation; however, there is some travel support available in cases where that is not possible. For all the details, please review the application guidelines. The application is open through May 1, 2018.
